St Pancras and the Piano. (with Elton John) Art Print
St Pancras and the Piano Illustrated Poster. Featuring Elton John's red piano.
St Pancras Station was opened in 1868 and is one of the wonders of Victorian Gothic Architecture and one of the most elegant stations in the World.
Spot a red piano?
St Pancras is famous for it's public pianos, for any one to play.
On February this year, St. Pancras had a surprise visitor. Sir Elton John himself. Not only did he visit the station, he also played the piano...delighting the unsuspecting crowd. What a treat !
After playing for a few minutes, the Rocket Man left a note on the piano: “Enjoy this piano. It’s a gift. Love, Elton John.”
This print features his most famous 'Red Piano' against the mammoth backdrop of St. Pancras International railway station clock tower. The piano that travelled with him to about 250 shows around the world!
