Église Saint-Nicolas, Hérémence Art Print : Brutalist Switzerland
Église Saint-Nicolas, Hérémence Switzerland. Art Print: Brutalist Architecture
Illustrated Poster
Saint-Nicolas Church in Hérémence, Switzerland, is a breathtaking brutalist building.
Designed by the Basel architect Walter Maria Förderer, it overlooks the Swiss Alps
and the canton of Valais.
It’s a stunning example of religious brutalism and it is just as beautiful as the
mountains surrounding it. Its irregular geometric shape and pockets of plants
symbolise the perseverance, stability and determination of the local people. And
when you step inside, even more architectural surprises await.
This beautifully designed art print shows the exterior of Église Saint-Nicolas as
layers of bold brutalism contrasted with lush green plants, and overflows with
personality and eclectic geometry.
It’s the perfect gift for nature and architecture lovers looking for a pop of colour to complement their interior design or gallery wall.
Created in collaboration with Brutalist Plants, founded by Olivia Broome.
